Palro Estate 2008 Rosé - ~$4

This rosé is a dry Argentinian bottle made from Malbec grapes, which I see more and more in pink wines. It boasts an interesting darkish translucent pink color reminiscent of cherry cough syrup. The nose is fresh and inviting, with highlights of dried flowers and citrus fruit.

Indeed, this is a refreshingly fruity wine offering flavors of strawberry and pomegranate closed out by bracing grapefruity zing. All in all, a pleasant summer sipper.
