Tautology, thy name is: Fresh & Easy's New Zealand Pinot Noir, a Pinot Noir from the Marlborough region of ... New Zealand.
The wine opens very quickly and offers up a nose of strawberry, truffles, earth, and menthol. The palate features sweet strawberry and blackberry and is rounded out by sour cherry on the finish.
Overall, it's a decent, medium-bodied Pinot Noir, though one that exhibits a bit of earthy rusticity that makes it a bit rough around the edges (for a PN, anyway).
